What Is Keyword Stuffing In SEO
What does the SEO term "keyword stuffing" mean and how do I avoid it with my online content and website? This is a common question when it comes to search engine optimization.
First of all, keyword stuffing is a practice that breaks the published website guidelines of major search engines like Google. If you engage in this practice, your website and other online content can end up banned from appearing in the search results viewed by millions of consumers. That is, most likely, the opposite effect you are looking for when you choose to place keywords in your content.
The reason you are placing these special phrases and terms is because you want to show up in the "organic search results" that appear when someone looks something up on a site like Google. While it is true that content with more of a certain keyword will naturally show up higher in the results, the search engine companies are not stupid.
You cannot simply over-inject keywords into your content and expect the search engines to help you achieve more traffic. You must use the keywords in a natural way and not over use them. For example, it is recommended to only use a certain keyword or phrase every so often - try to write naturally as you would normally speak or write. Don't cram as many of your keywords in as possible - your content will end up sounding strange and being keyword stuffed.
