Types of Web Designers Empty Types of Web Designers

Hi,
Following are the types of web designers :
1. The patch it up coder

This is the guy that comes in to fix other peoples mistakes. When something goes wrong with your site he will find a way to fix it and fix it fast. He doesn't care about fixing the way your site looks or how it functions he only cares about getting it running again. He is ideal at finding the problem fixing the code and moving on. The code he writes might not be pretty but odds are neither was the original if he had to come in the first place.

2. The perfectionist

This coder can be a dream and a nightmare all in one. He has no concern for your deadline or how much it will cost but you will get the best web site imaginable. The function so efficient and the design breathtaking. The code is so efficient that anything you would add to it would only hinder its perfection, and in his mind he is the only one qualified to add or remove anything from this code.

3. The minimal effort programmer

To this programmer writing any unique code is bad. In his mind why would he write something that has already been done, you can simply borrow their code. This programmer will preach about how his way is superior and that everyone else is dumb for wasting time, even though his work takes just as long or longer than any other coder. His day involves scouring the web for pre-assembled code and then managing to tailor it to his own needs. When he finishes though you will have a project that may only be 20 lines of actual code but it will be extremely easy to read. His work may not be the most efficient, but it will be done and will take the least amount of effort.

4. The half-assed coder

The half-assed coder is the guy who will do what you ask him and nothing more. He is a nightmare to other programmers and you may not like his work, but he is single-handedly keeping the deadlines you set. He does not care about the quality of the code, he thinks that's someone elses job. Management and clients love this guy as he can deliver on time but there is a definite cost.

5. The options coder

This coder will spend most of his time coming up with different ways to accomplish a task than every actually completing one. He will stare at his computer for hours on end until he has run every scenario through his mind on how something should be done. When he finally does write some code its a safe bet he will be back to consider it after he adds the next part to make sure that it's still his best choice in harmony with the last. When you finally receive the website you can be sure that he will be saying if he had more time things would be different.
