Hi,
Now days a concept that has become popular is a link wheel. Whatever blog or website that you desire to be the focal point of your online strategy to make money, drive traffic to your site, or use for affiliate marketing, a link wheel will serve the purpose. Let's look at how to make a link wheel to channel traffic to your website and improve your search engine ranking as well.

The most important thing is to make sure that your main site is content-rich, and has been fully optimized with your target keyword. Keywords obviously form the most essential part of any search engine optimization strategy. Based on your keyword you need to write several articles related to the keyword. The articles need to be related to each other as well. The objective is to post each article on Web 2.0 sites such as wordpress, blogger, wikispaces, and more so you need to write an article for each account that you have, with different writing styles.

Once your content is ready, you begin by posting your first article on one of the Web 2.0 sites, for example, Wordpress. Add a link to your main site that you are focusing on, which will be the central point for all your articles in the wheel. Each article can be considered a spoke, with your main website the hub of the wheel. It is recommended that you wait one or two days before you post the next article on the second Web 2.0 site. Add one link that points to your main site and to the first article, which was posted on Wordpress, as well. In the same fashion, you need to continue posting articles to various Web 2.0 sites with 2 links each, one that points to the main site, and the other to the previous site or 'spoke' in the wheel. After posting the last article, add a second link on the first published article to the last one. This completes the link wheel, which is ready to 'spin' and see you getting enough traffic back to your main site.

Link wheel could be a potentially fireproof method, which may involve a bit of time initially. However, once the wheel is ready, be prepared to experience some great traffic to your site. In your quest for traffic and potential profits, make sure you use high quality content. Update the content frequently, which will help with indexing, and will bring authority to you main sites. With practice, you will get better at learning how to make a link wheel.
