Hi,
I learned web designed through tutorials, videos, articles and search on internet. Following are tips for web designing :

1. Do NOT use bevel, at all.

2. Do not use excessively large fonts

3. Keep your gradient overlays low.

4. CSS galleries are great for inspiration.

5. Stop using ugly background images!

6. Excessive ads will push visitors away

7. Too many colors is just ugly
