Hi Everyone,
Pay-per-click search engine marketing is an excellent tool that many internet marketers use to put their product or service in front of people who they know will be interested in what they are offering. There are a few simple strategies that you can use to increase how effective your search engine marketing campaign will be, and one of the most important ones is testing out your different campaigns even if they are promoting the same product.

This might sound like a complicated strategy but it can actually be very simple, and if you are willing to take the time to follow this advice it can increase the profits that you see from every dollar spent on advertising. The first thing you need to do once you know what you are promoting is to create a list of keywords, which will be the search terms that your ad will show up for in the search engine results.

After you have your keyword list created, most advertisers will create only one text ad and they will spend their entire daily budget on this one ad. The trick that you can use to increase the profits that you see from your pay-per-click ad campaign is to divide your daily maximum budget by ten, and then create ten different versions of your ad that have different headlines. Once you do this you will want to let your ads run for a week or longer, or however much time you need to get enough impressions and clicks so that you can tell which ads are high performing and profitable, and which ones you might be losing money on.

By taking the time to do this simple test where you try out a number of different text ads and headlines instead just putting all your advertising dollars into a single ad without testing it, you can greatly increase the return on investment that you see from your pay-per-click advertising campaign. If one of your text ads was only delivering a 150% return on investment, but by testing you figured out that your highest performing ad was delivering a 200% return on investment compared to your daily budget, you have just effectively doubled your profits by choosing that to be your main advertisement.

The great thing about search engine marketing is that because so many people are using the major search engines, you can run this sort of test literally in a few hours or days. Doing this sort of pay-per-click testing can give you a tremendous advantage over your competitors because it can give you a lower cost-per-click and a higher return on investment for every dollar spent on your advertising budget.
