Hi,
On page search engine optimization is a technique that makes your website SEO friendly. It involves improving your site files to increase the ranking of your site. The meta-tag also known as title tag is of great importance in on page SEO technique. The meta-tag of your choice should be unique and should not be identical to another one in a different site. Identical meta-tags are in most cases taken as duplicates by the search engine. The meta-tag in every page should be well arranged. Good arrangement of the meta-tags helps the search engine to correctly identify the site. There are some factors that are very vital in on page SEO and should be considered for a success in on page SEO techniques.

If you choose to personally write the content, ensure that your content is informative, unique and of good quality. In a situation where you choose to hire a writer, ensure that you hire a professional writer who has experience in writing web content. Repetition of the keywords in the web content is a perfect way to improve the ranking of your site by the search engine. However the wrong use of keywords could be dangerous. The keyword density should be reasonable. A very low or very high keyword density is not appropriate. The Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) should be made search engine friendly and should be able to describe your web content. This is possible through the use of hyphens or underscores to separate words in the URLs. Another common mistake done in on page SEO is in the coding. Wrong coding could result to the crawlers being unable to clearly read the page on your site.

Images and flashes are colorful and made your website look good. Nevertheless websites that are densely occupied with images and flashes are at a risk of search engines being unable to read the site. If you must use Flash, make sure to transcribe your Flash content into plain HTML or the images or video scripts are well labeled with descriptive URLs so that the search engine has an easier time picking up its content.

When linking your site ensure that you only use the "no follow" link to websites that you do not trust, those that you think maybe using spamming techniques or the websites that you do not want to help in the ranking. For websites that you trust and would be of help in improving the ranking of your website, use the "do follow" link. On page search engine optimization is a continuous process that you are involved as long as you have a website. With so much competition, you need to change or update your website after some time.
