1.Prepare a list of keywords you think will drive traffic to your site.

2.Sign up for a free trial at Wordtracker. Already completed your trial? Sign up for a one-day, one-week, one-month or one-year period of service.

3.Enter one of your keywords to generate a list of related keywords and similar terms.

4.Select one of the related keywords to search the Wordtracker database, and add keywords to your basket by clicking on them.

5.Print or e-mail the list of keywords you have selected.

6.Continue in Wordtracker to compare your keywords to actual searches in the major search engines-MSN, Google, Yahoo and others. Compare the effective ranking of your keywords. How many sites are competing for ranking using those keywords, and how many searches have been performed using your terms?
