Adding Hibernate shortcut on Desktop
Hi friends I have found a trick to add Hibernate shortcut on Desktop. But I tested it only on XP so I am not sure that will work for windows vista and seven or not.
1. If Hibernate is not enabled in your PC, then first enable it, else goto step 2.
Select Start, then Run, type powercfg.cpl and click OK. Click the Hibernate tab. If Hibernate isn`t checked, check it and click OK.
2. Right click on Desktop, select New & then Shortcut.
3. A wizard opens up & asks for the location of the item. Type
rundll32.exe PowrProf.dll, SetSuspendState
& then click Next.
4. Name the shortcut Hibernate & click Finish.
