Google Panda Update A Necessary Step Towards Creating Better Content
We all know that Google keeps changing its algorithm. So, when google implemented its latest Panda update in February this year, it sent shockwaves to the biggest article writing site, ezine as well.
Websites which used to be on top of google for close to 5-7 years now, suddenly dropped massively in Google rankings because of this change in the algorithm.
However, the underlining fact remains, Content is king. It has not forced businesses to create better and unique content.
Quality Content
According to the Official Google Blog, This update is designed to reduce rankings for low-quality sitessites which are low-value add for users, copy content from other websites or sites that are just not very useful. At the same time, it will provide better rankings for high-quality sitessites with original content and information such as research, in-depth reports, thoughtful analysis and so on.
So, now websites that rely on copied articles or free found ones, are now sure to sink to the bottom of the serps
One should try writing better and more and more informative article by going into the depth of the subject. It should be written in a way to solve peoples problems towards that subject and should not be focused merely on words i.e. ideally an article should be around 600-1000 words
A better way of marketing the articles would be through social networking sites like, Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Linkedin etc. Through these website, the visibility of your article will be more and consequently it will generate more readers for your articles, thus creating a hedge against future Google updates. The visitors / readers will go to the link to read your article and Google is for sure to make notice of this thereby increase your ranking
Look at Google Panda as a positive change that will help you rise above competitors who were doing a bad job of content marketing. If you follow the new rules, youll be able to effectively use content to get new customers.
