Hi,
Some of the prominent issues related to the Plugins are as follows :

It is possible that the WordPress Plugin abruptly stops working. There could be a number of reasons for this. The WordPress may have stopped working just because you may be having its old version but not its latest version. To resolve this issue click on “Administration” and then “Plugin”. The screen should now display a list of all WordPress Plugins. The notification about upgrading will also be displayed. Now you need to click “Upgrade Automatically”. As a consequence of this the latest version of WordPress Plugins will be downloaded. This has to be done regularly and usually twice or thrice a year.

There are other ways to resolve this issue if the upgrading does not make the WordPress Plugin work. It is possible that the Plugin software may have got corrupted and in this case you have to reinstall the Plugin right from the start. It is also possible that the WordPress Plugin does not work just because the changes that you made in the software are not compatible with that Plugin. In this case the one who has penned the Plugin should be contacted to make the WordPress software work.
At times upgrading of WordPress can result in multiple Plugins that can jeopardize the proper working of the Plugins. The only resolution to this issue is the deactivation of the Plugins that have malfunctioned. In this situation there is no other alternative but to wait till the author scripts a new Plugin that is compatible with the WordPress version that you have.

At times deleting of a WordPress Plugin may not be possible. When you still try to delete it, it may generate errors making things worse. There could be a number of reasons of this too and on that depends the resolution.

It is possible that the author of the Plugin may have give instructions that need to be followed for uninstalling that Plugin. Now if those instructions are not followed it can lead to errors and you will not be able to get rid of that Plugin.

The template files that depend on the Plugin may have changed. Double check whether those changes were recommended in the author’s instructions,

It is possible that prior to deleting the Plugin you have to access the Plugin Administration and the Plugin has to be deactivated. If you do not deactivate the Plugin and try to delete the active Plugin, the error can get generated.
