Ranking in YouTube is easier than Ranking in Google

If you target terms with universal search in video for YouTube Rank, e.g. golfing... (If videos 'pop-up' in Google or Yahoo etc) then that is a term to optimize and rank for.

1. In initial descriptions, if 122 characters show, then you should aim to get links there.

2. Any videos ranking for your terms, keywords, have tags worth copying, to build more and more links.

3. Include a 'Call To Action' on your video, by tagging them, which improves CTR (Click Through Rate). If you expand the arrows to the left of 'Views', you will see these tags.

4. Build video sitemaps e.g. if you have videos included on your website, search for webmaster tools in Google, then submit video sites through them, as Google actively looks for new video content and it helps flag the video/site to their attention.
