What Makes a Good Website? Empty What Makes a Good Website?

How can one determine the quality of a website and what criteria of a website are usually used to measure its quality? A good website can be defined in many ways. I’ve recently came across a great blog article of a Toronto SEO company with the topic Defining a Quality Website which discuss about the key points and factors that make up a great website.

One of the utmost key features of a quality website is the user-friendliness of its layout and structure. A user-friendly website allows visitors to easily explore and navigate within the site, displaying clear and simple page structure along with relevant and quality contents.

Aside from being user-friendly, a good website shall also be search engine friendly at the same time. The source code of a web page should be well optimized based on its programming language such as HTML, PHP, Perl, ASP, CGI and so forth, thus search engine spiders can effectively and efficiently crawl through the page and properly index it in the search results. SEO tools found online can assist webmasters to determine and build a better website for the benefits of internet users.

On top of that, a quality website should be visually appealing and attractive to its visitors in terms of its design and it should be able to show a sense of professionalism.
